AC Milan interested in Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo

The San Siro outfit are looking to reinforce their attack and are considering a bid for the Argentine-born striker, who is not part of the Giallorossi's plans for 2012-13

AC Milan is weighing up its options for a move on Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo, Goal.com has learned.

The Rossoneri are interested in adding to their attacking ranks in the summer after deciding against taking up the option to buy Maxi Lopez, who spent the second half of the campaign on loan at San Siro from Catania.

Alessandro Matri, who worked with Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri at Cagliari between 2008 and 2010, is also understood to be a strong possibility, but the 44-year-old is looking for alternatives to the Juventus striker.
Osvaldo signed for Roma from Espanyol last summer in a 17.5 euros million deal, scoring 11 Serie A goals for the Italian capital club.
But the 26-year-old is not part of new Roma coach Zdenek Zeman's plans, as the veteran Czech trainer is looking to conduct a revolution in this recently-inherited squad.
It is believed that Roma would accept offers in the region of 7m euros for Osvaldo in a bid to offload the former Espanyol striker to Milan.
