Milan near Diarra signature

Milan is still searching for strong midfielders, currently in Spain. They see Lassana Diarra as a great addition who will make the midfield competition even stronger for the starting XIX. One strong obsticle remains however, and that is the high paycheck that the player recieves in Spain. One favorite to sign him was Spartac Moscow, but L'Equipe informs that they have dropped their interest for Diarra instead turning their main focus on Vasco De Gama's 22 year old player Romulo.
Milan are also in the market searching for another defender, primary italian. Federico Balzaretti, Federico Peluso and Andrea Dossena were recently linked with Milan.
Let's remind you that Balzaretti is 30 years old, Peluso 28 years old and Dossena 30 years old. Does this means that Veteran's transfer policy continues?
