I just read the official announcement Van Persie made that he will not extend his contract with Arsenal. The first thought come to my mind is: "Imagine Van Persie in Milan uniform." Milan doesn't need a player like him, Milan needs HIM. Van Persie is a player with great technique, powerful shot and he is skilled with the ball. He moves great with and without the ball, he can draw attention from opposite defenders while freeing more meters for other attackers. Imagine, Van Persie-Pato (assuming Pato will get to his good old form)-Ibrahimovic. It's a fantastic trio, a trio that promises lots of scored goals. With him on the squad Milan right away is named as a top team. But Van Persie comes with high price, a price that "transfer diet" Milan not sure that can afford..unless...unless a player like Boateng for example gets sacrificed. Yet again maybe this sacrifice will not be enough to ensure that Van Persie transfer to Milan, especially not knowing that for Van Persie are interested every rich team such as Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus. But from all of these teams seems like only Manchester City has the money to buy Van Persie. It is scary what money can do today and how football from a game became a pure business.
There are even reports that say City are ready to offload Tevez to free some £20 million for Van Persie. Guess where can Tevez end up? Exactly, wearing Milan jersey.
With Van Persie on the team Milan has the chance to win the treble, Seria A, Champions League and Coppa Italia. Hope Boca Juniors end up wining their 19th international title so this in way becomes a wake up call for Galliani to stop using the "most successful club in the world" excuse and overcome Boca's (eventual) 19 international titles by wining couple of Champion Leagues and UEFA Super Cups. If we want to beat the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Van Perie is a must buy.
I have a dream, it's called Van Persie wearing Milan's jersey.
Would You love to see Van Persie scoring goals for Milan?
