Santos in Robinho talks with Milan

Reports has surfaced that Santos are ready to open negotiations with Milan for Robinho. Santos has tried to sign Robinho few times but failed that many times.

The 28-year old has had two previous spells with the Sao Paulo outfit in his career, and the 2011 Copa Libertadores winners are keen to bring the former Manchester City man back to his homeland.
The club's vice-president Odilio Santo Rodrigues told Lancenet he has spoken with Robinho about a possible move at the end of the season, though he is wary of the Italian side asking for a large transfer fee.

"It’s true, we are interested in Robinho. We have already spoken with the player, there is a wish to do something during the transfer window at the end of the year, but nobody knows how much Milan will ask for him. Robinho called us a few days ago and we are often in contact, but he is a professional and has a contract in Italy. Let's see what happens at the end of the year."

The Brazilian joined the Rossoneri over the summer of 2010 but has struggled for consistent goalscoring form in his two seasons for the seven-time European Cup winners.
His current deal runs until the end of the 2013/14 season, but with Massimiliano Allegri's side struggling after two early defeats in Serie A, he could be forced to look elsewhere if he is to win more silverware.

La Stampa: Berlusconi puts Milan on sale

Berlusconi is disappointed in the way Milan has started the season, and will soon put Milan on sale, according to newspaper La Stampa. Milan president was widely angry after Milan drew with Anderlecht in the Champions League.
According to the same newspaper, Berlusconi wanted to sack Allegri right after Anderlecht match, but Galliani stepped in and decided to give Allegri one last chance to save his job. Let's not forget Milan has played three games in San Siro scored zero goals and has a stats of two defeats and one draw.
This situation has annoyed Berlusconi who is reported to have said to closer friends:
"If someone is willing to buy Milan, I will sell the club immediately. I feel ashamed the way Milan started this season"

Berlusconi is Milan president for 26 years now, and has won everything. Few seasons ago it was reported that there are some sheiks interested in buying Milan but then Berlusconi rejected any offer to sell Milan.

Massimiliano Allegri's future to be decided this weekend

With a disastrous campaign so far this season, AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri’s future could be decided by the game against Udinese on Sunday.

In four games so far, the Rossoneri have only recorded one win, which came against Bologna in week two, while the other games which were played at San Siro ended in two defeats against Sampdoria and Atalanta respectively, and the Champions League draw against Anderlecht.

Even worse, Milan failed to score in those three games held at the San Siro.
Reports suggest that Diavolo president Silvio Berlusconi has thought of axing the former Cagliari tactician while his right hand Adriano Galliani wants to give Allegri another chance against Udinese.
Should Milan dismiss Allegri, Mauro Tassotti who was part of the coaching staff during Carlo Ancelotti’s era might get the chance until the end of the season.

Benitez agent dismisses Milan link

Yesterday it was rumored that Rafa Benitez is ready to overtake from Allegri Milan's position as head coach.
Benitez has been unemployed since leaving Milan's city rival, Inter. Speculations begin to fire up recently because Milan has the worst Seria A start for 82 years.
This situation made Galliani to publicly back Allegri by saying that Allegri's spot is secure for now in San Siro.
Rafa Benitez agent on the other side was fast to deny all the rumours that link Bentiz with Milan

"It is not true that Benitez has put himself forward to AC Milan," said the Spaniard's agent Manuel Garcia Quillon. But if the Rossoneri should call, he would evaluate the proposal and listen carefully.
If Milan called we'll speak about it because we are ready to listen to everything - and not only from Italy."

This is not Milan !!! Milan 0-0 Anderlecht

For the fourth consecutive match Milan's players has done nothing but to disgrace the shirt they are wearing. Lethargic, non-creative, lack of imagination, a lots of lost balls, sometimes even seemed like Anderlecht was the home team. In a very competitive squad usually players like Bonera, Flamini, Emanuelson, Antonini, Mexes, Pazzini they either play for reserve squad or they are nothing but a couple a bench warmers. Allegri in my opinion is not the one should be blamed, administration with the lack of quality transfer activity is the main reason why Milan is performing this way.
As far as goes for the players, their quality is that, and they can't do more than what they're capable of. ASAP should be bought at least four world class players if Milan was about to return in the glory road. A world class Defender (Bonera ASAP OUT), a world Class MIDFIELDER (Milan has a MIDFIELD players? I mean....REALLY?), world class PLAYMAKER (Milan lacks play-maker the same way human being lack O2) and a world class ATTACKER (enough wasted AKA Pazzini, Bojan Krkic players).
I am afraid we haven't seen the worse yet, Milan also lack depth. Few injuries of "key players" (Milan has key players, again....Really?) and Milan will be fighting a spot to remain a Seria A team.
No more lame excuses, it's time Berlusconi either to sell the team to some investor who is willing to spend BIG, either he himself to spend BIG.
This is not Milan we use to watch, this is LAME.

Allegri's job under pressure as Milan faces Anderlecht in Champions League

Milan is in a rebuilding process, and right now is having tough time. On Saturday Milan were defeated for the second consecutive time in San Siro from mediocre Atalanta with 1-0. These were the first two opening losses for Milan over the last 82 years.

From possible 9 points Milan has only 3 and is currently on the 10th place of Seria A table. This led the media to believe that Allegri's job is under pressure, but Adriano Galliani ruled any question about Allegri's position:

"Allegri is not in discussion, he should stay calm,'' Galliani said, after spending Sunday at the club's training ground talking to the coach and the players. "We have to think about getting back our injured players and returning to getting good results, starting already in the Champions League.

Club president Silvio Berlusconi asked me to stay close to the squad and calm them at this time.''

Brazil duo, Robinho and Pato will miss this match due to leg muscle injuries, while Montolivo is still on the injury list. The good news for Milan is that Mexes could make the first season appearance.

Probable Milan starting line-up:
Abbiati; Abate, Bonera, Mexes, Antonini; Nocerino, De Jong, Ambrosini; Boateng; Bojan, Pazzini

Boban: “The worst Milan squad in the last 25 years”

When it comes to saying the truth about Milan, we gotta "put the hat down" for Milan's Zoro, Zvonimir Boban. He openly criticized current Milan squad by saying Milan is not playing any football, the squad lacks creativity as much as it lacks quality players. He also said without thinking twice that this Milan team is the worst squad over the last 25 years.

“You can also lose games but you have to do it by playing football. Milan are not doing that, everything is so random,” Boban, who played for Milan for nine seasons, and wore the number 10 shirt, said of the match against Atalanta. “Milan are lacking quality. The current Milan squad is the worst in the last 25 years.”

Milan already lost twice this season, and started this campaign poorly. After three matches Milan has one win and two defeats and a total of just 3 points of maximum 9. Both defeats came in San Siro, where Milan will debut in this season's Champions League against Anderlecht.

Announcement !!!

Milan's form at the beginning of the season is not something for us to be proud of, but knowing the fact that Milan is undergoing a tough and difficult rebuilding process, patience from the management all the way to fans should be the key ingredient that could and will lead Milan back on the glory track. A rebuilding process is not an easy process, plus next season UEFA's financial fair play will "kick in" and Milan is thinking one step ahead of other big spending teams. I'm not saying I'm satisfied with Milan's actual form, but it wasn't far away from what I've expected. 13 players left the team and about 7 new players joined the team, so in order this to work out it might take time for players to adapt each other, and Milan's game plan as well as Milano's lifestyle.
I don't expect Milan's actual team to fight for a higher spot than 3rd place, achieving this goal and securing Champions League spot for next season could be as far as this Milan team could go, unless of course new quality players don't arrive during winter transfer window.
What should be taken as a note is also Milan's drastic overall team age drop, given the fact that Milan was on top 3 last year as the oldest team in Seria A, Galliani and Co. did a great job investing in youth, and bringing the average Milan players age somewhere at 25.4 years.
Every wave has its peek, its top, but also has the rock bottom, Milan is being rebuild, Milan once adopt new UEFA financial fair play laws, will be back on winning track, it just takes patience and sticking near our team, in good and bad times.

BOMBASTIC: KAKA agreed personal terms with Milan !!

Exists a love that never dies, this kinda of a love goes away for awhile but always comes back for a happy ending. Kaka is coming back to Milan. He has agreed personal terms with Milan, contract details yet to be revealed but what is important is Milan made a huge step forward by bringing Kaka back.
From this will benefit every party involved there is: Milan, Real Madrid and most importantly the player himself, because Kaka had by far his best football years wearing Rossoneri jersey Nr.22. This news is fresh and it is coming right from the apartment where Kaka was holding Milan jersey when he rejected rich Manchester City offer. It has been reported that Kaka together with his family has already moved in that apartment and Kaka could sign within the next 24 hours.
Milan fans, Kaka IS BACK. :))

EXCLUSIVE: Agreement has been reached, KAKA a Rossoneri again !!!

Kaka and his agent today held an urgent meeting. The main discussion had to do with Kaka's future in Real Madrid. Strong reports say that Jose Mourinho has given Kaka green light to make a sensational Milan comeback. Kaka was pushing for this move to go through, but seems like Kaka is also ready to reduce his yearly salary from €12 million to € 5 million per season.
Same reports also suggest that Barbara Berlusconi was also favoring this move to Berlusconi, as she thought that this way Berlusconi can calm Milan fans, at least temporarily
Milan will pay  €10 million to Real Madrid for Kaka, according to Sky Sport. For such a player, I think Galliani (if this deal goes through) has made a fantastic deal, a true and pure Galliani magic. Let's just remind you that Milan sold Kaka to Real Madrid for £56million, back in 2009.
The next few days it is expected this transfer to officialized, KAKA a ROSSONERO again !!!

Inter won pre-season Tim Cup, pathetic Milan with zero points

It just ended the pre-season Tim Cup between Milan, Inter, Juventus. It was obvious that Milan is at least 5 steps backwards comparing to Juventus and Inter.
Some fans might use the excuse this is just a warm up exhibition cup, yes this might be true but it gives us the picture where Milan in fact is comparing to other top Italian teams Juventus and Inter. Both Juve and Inter were physically better than Milan, while Milan players it's obvious that a tough season is in front of them.
If Milan squad stays as it is right now, I'd be much surprised if they reach 5th place in Seria A. Robinho was out of shape, the only two players who are in shape are Boateng and El Sharaawy.
The good news is that nobody got hurt while Juve ended the Cup with three injured players.
Unless the package of Kaka, Ganso, Dzeko, Tevez, Hummels don't arrive, Allegri is right, this will be a zero season for Milan.
Inter's Phelippe Coutinho was named as TIM CUP's MVP.

"Year Zero for MIlan"-Allegri, fans to protest

Massimiliano Allegri admits “this is Year Zero for Milan” after losing 12 players including Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The fans are threatening protests at Saturday evening’s Trofeo TIM, where the Rossoneri will face Inter and Juventus in a mini-tournament at Bari’s Stadio San Nicola.

“This is Year Zero for Milan,” Coach Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.

“In all 12 champions have left, some due to their age and others because of decisions made by the club. We couldn't say no to PSG. We must work on the foundations, even if there are still many players who remained. There is a month left in the transfer market and last season the team really changed its identity right at the end of that window.”

Thiago Silva and Ibrahimovic were sold to PSG this week, while the likes of Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf, Pippo Inzaghi, Gianluca Zambrotta, Alberto Aquilani and Mark Van Bommel were released at the end of their contracts.

Top players reject to move in Italy

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has admitted that Italian football has lost the ability to sign ready-made great players.
Speaking after selling Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain, he underlined that Italian clubs don’t have what is needed to attract the world’s best.
“I agree with Mino Raiola, the agent of Ibrahimovic, who says that top players are no longer coming to Italy,” the official conceded.
With Ibra gone, Galliani is now looking for a new forward and there were rumours of a possible bid for Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic.
“I had lunch with Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade,” Galliani noted. “We are old friends, but we didn’t speak about Jovetic.”
The Viola have insisted that any club interested in the Montenegrin international will have to pay €30m. Juventus are keen, but not at that price.

Thiago Silva wanted to stay in Milan

Thiago Silva has insisted that he didn’t request a transfer from Milan to Paris Saint-Germain. “I had just renewed my contract.”
The Brazilian has been sold to PSG for €42m and he’ll be joined by Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Swede completed his switch on Wednesday.

“I’m happy with the transfer, but sad that I have had to say goodbye to Milan,” he said from Brazil’s Olympic training camp.

“I experienced some strong emotions there. It is a club which dedicates itself to its players and the squad – I owe them everything.

“My transfer to Paris was not a decision taken by me – that’s 100 per cent certain – after all, I had just extended my contract.
People who understand about football know how things went and it was a complicated matter for me. It was my desire, and that of my family, to not leave Milan. I’m not going to PSG to earn more money. I’m not a mercenary, but I want to say sorry to the Milan fans.”

It was only after Silva discussed the French club’s ambitions with PSG sporting director Leonardo, his former boss at Milan, that he gave the move the green light.

“Leonardo and Carlo Ancelotti phoned me and I have great affection and respect for Leonardo,” the stopper added.

“Their project was what pushed me to change clubs. As Ibrahimovic has said, they are building a dream team. I want to make history with the club.”
