Santos in Robinho talks with Milan

Reports has surfaced that Santos are ready to open negotiations with Milan for Robinho. Santos has tried to sign Robinho few times but failed that many times.

The 28-year old has had two previous spells with the Sao Paulo outfit in his career, and the 2011 Copa Libertadores winners are keen to bring the former Manchester City man back to his homeland.
The club's vice-president Odilio Santo Rodrigues told Lancenet he has spoken with Robinho about a possible move at the end of the season, though he is wary of the Italian side asking for a large transfer fee.

"It’s true, we are interested in Robinho. We have already spoken with the player, there is a wish to do something during the transfer window at the end of the year, but nobody knows how much Milan will ask for him. Robinho called us a few days ago and we are often in contact, but he is a professional and has a contract in Italy. Let's see what happens at the end of the year."

The Brazilian joined the Rossoneri over the summer of 2010 but has struggled for consistent goalscoring form in his two seasons for the seven-time European Cup winners.
His current deal runs until the end of the 2013/14 season, but with Massimiliano Allegri's side struggling after two early defeats in Serie A, he could be forced to look elsewhere if he is to win more silverware.

Maxi Lopez for SkySport 24 + Ibracadabra Interview

MAXI LOPEZ answering questions about Milan and his future: "I feel well here in Italy. My first choice is to stay in Serie A, but it’s right to consider eventual offers from abroad. Donadoni wants me at Parma? It’s nice to hear. I did my best at Milan and I’m still motivated for the next season.
It would be an enormous delight and honor for me to stay at Milan but I'll still be motivated to do my best if I go somewhere else. Currently there isn’t anything concrete. Napoli is an important club, but I haven’t received any offers from them. I’m still waiting to hear from my agent, who is currently evaluating different offers.
Translated interview for SkySport24

IBRAHIMOVIC answering questions: "Thiago Silva? I haven't heard that much, but there has been written a lot about it.
Milan is a club that wants to win and that wants to keep on winning. And if you want to keep on winning, then you keep T. Silva. I hope that Milan will sign some new players and that our team will play even better, and also avoid a lot of injuries. I have great anger inside of me and that makes me even more motivated. It gives me strength.I still have 2 years left of my contract with Milan, and I'm still motivated. I want to do even better."

Malaga is ready to pay €15 million for Robinho

Few days ago came out an information linking Malaga for Robinho services but the transfer fee was unknown till now, and it's speculated to be exact  €15 million. Being aware of the fact that Milan is in the group of teams that suffered and are suffering a lot from the global economical crises, this sum is considerable for Milan chiefs. Also studying Robinho's form over the last couple of season (especially the last season, he scored just 6 goals)  €15 million seems fair sum for Milan to accept. Another factor that could go against Robinho stay in Milan is his wage salary, he nets  €6 million per year and he has a valid contract until 2014, Milan administration recently started an salary wage cut action. Scroll down to see Milan's player salaries and their current contracts.

TRANSFER BOMB: Real Madrid to wax KAKA, Milan on red alert

A real mercato bomb arrives from Real Madrid, who according to latest news are ready to sell KAKA, after a disappointing season. KAKA currently earns  € 10 million per season, and as things are standing for him, Real wants to free space for new, more productive player.

It's not a secret that Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani for a cut price would love to see KAKA on Milan jersey once again. KAKA is well known with Seria A of course and this could be decisive for Milan board of directors to make a serious bid for his services. But first, the Rossoneri face to stiff problems, PSG competition for KAKA, and the player's high wage of  € 10 million per year.

Milan thinking about bringing Nesta back ?

The latest informations from web suggest that Milan has offered ALESSANDRO NESTA a new contract. We know that Nesta together with Gennaro Gattuso, Mark Van Bommel, Filippo Inzaghi and Gianluca Zambrotta left Milan last month, but with Galliani saying that Milan will go in a transfer diet, he in fact is suggesting that Milan will sign Nesta for at least another year. Another factor for bringing Nesta back is the status-quo Acerbi situation, Chievo and Genoa has yet to clear the co-ownership situation about the player..

According to il Corriere dello Sport, Milan are considering to bring Nesta back as the center back hasn’t found a new team yet. “Nesta? I have spoken with him, but we’ll see. I offered him a 1-year extension and now we’ll see what happens in our defence,” Vice President and Chief Executive Adriano Galliani said.

“When Nesta told me that he would leave us, I went ahead and tried to sign Acerbi, but now we will see what happens.” Milan already have Daniele Bonera, Philippe Mexes, Mario Yepes and Thiago Silva for CB.

Nesta has been linked with a move to the MLS but it appears that his wage demands are too much for New York Red Bulls who were very interested in him. The Rome-based newspaper also claims that Milan are considering a move for Napoli’s Andrea Dossena who could be released from Napoli this summer.
Galliani said yesterday that Milan will make only two more signings this season and that’s it: one central defender (probably Acerbi but could be also Nesta) and one midfielder: one of Flamini and Aquilani.

Genoa President: "For Acerbi, we have a pact with Milan"

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi admits Monaco are in talks with Alberto Gilardino and they have “a pact” with Milan for Francesco Acerbi.

“Gilardino is an important player. We spent a lot of money on him, but there is interest from Monaco. If that goes through, then we’ll focus on someone else,” said Preziosi.

“Will German Denis or Adrian Mutu replace him? No, neither of those players will join us. We gave Mattia Destro to Siena on loan with the option to buy half his contract. If we find a deal, he’ll return to us 100 per cent, otherwise Siena will become co-owners.”
Much has been said about Chievo defender Acerbi, who is co-owned with Genoa and strongly linked with Milan. Earlier this month Preziosi had suggested Acerbi would “only see San Siro in a postcard,” but has now changed his tune.

“We haven’t yet reached an agreement with Chievo. If we do buy Acerbi out, then we already have a pact with Milan. Next season Ciro Immobile and Alexander Merkel will be playing with Genoa.”

Adriano Galliani reveals "Milan on a transfer diet"

Adriano Galliani has revealed Milan’s transfer plans for the summer after the club opted to reject Paris Saint-Germain’s bid for Thiago Silva.
The Diavolo informed the French outfit last night that the Brazilian would stay at San Siro after President Silvio Berlusconi decided against cashing in on him.

“We’re happy,” Galliani told Radio Sportiva on Friday. “I’ve already said that Berlusconi was heroic for resisting more than €40m in the knowledge that the accounts are in the red and he’ll now have to balance things out himself. The decision was made last night. The President took a couple of days to think about it, but he made the choice on his own. We won’t sell anyone and that includes Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”
It is the second time in six months that PSG have tried and failed to sign a Brazilian from the San Siro giants.

“With Alexandre Pato there was a triangle with Manchester City for Carlos Tevez,” the official continued.
“This time we were talking about selling a player for a record fee for a defender. They were two different negotiations. Now we had to simply decide whether or not to sell the best defender in the world.”
Milan are one of numerous clubs feeling the pinch in these difficult financial times and Galliani has warned fans to not expect a busy summer in the market.
“We’ll bring in a fifth centre-back,” he revealed. “If Genoa sign Chievo’s half share in Francesco Acerbi then it will be him. We’ll get a midfielder too or keep Mathieu Flamini or Alberto Aquilani. We are fine in attack.”

Robinho in Malaga, Di Natale to replace him ?

Now that Thiago Silva transfer saga is dead and dusted, seems shifts has been turned to another Milan player. According to Spanish Marca, Robinho will soon be transfered in Malaga while Di Natale will replace him. Milan President, Silvio Berlusconi has reassured fans that Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will stay put in San Siro, but Marca suggest that other scenario is in play. Malaga wants to be competetive team in the Champions Leage and see Robinho as a great transfer target, this will open place for an attacker to join Milan's squad in this case that striker is suggested to be Antonio Di Natale. For now this is just fantasy football, but as the transfer window is open interesting scenarios might come true soon.

Milan to beat Chelsea FC for Sergi Roberto

Chelsea look set to lose out to AC Milan in the race to sign highly-rated Barcelona B midfielder Sergi Roberto.

Chelsea are keen on signing the 20-year-old, who is believed to be available for around £6million, but according to reports in Spain, the Champions league winners are unwilling to meet Barca's valuation.
And that could lead to the Blues, who this week are expected to confirm Roberto Di Matteo as manager on a full-time basis, missing out on the Spain Under-21 international.
Italian giants Milan are said to have tabled a £5m bid for Roberto, although they are now in pole position and are believed to have already held talks with the player's agent.
Roberto made a small handful of appearances for Barca's first team under Pep Guardiola, who stepped down as coach at the end of last month.

Inter & AC Milan to battle it out for £15million Manchester United midfielder Anderson

The Brazil international has not progressed as the Old Trafford club had hoped and has now been sounded out as a summer transfer target by the two Milanese giants
United are prepared to cut their losses by seeking £15m for the transfer of the 24-year-old, who made just 10 appearances in the Premier League last season.
Anderson arrived from Porto in a deal worth €30 million (£25.6m) in 2007 at the same time as Nani but while the winger has gone on to become a key figure at Old Trafford, the Brazilian playmaker has not progressed as hoped.
Contact has already been established with the Italian giants through a third party, with the Rossoneri having identified Anderson as a potential replacement for in-demand midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

"Anderson has not kicked on as the club hoped," a source told Goal.com "With Inter and AC interested, United would certainly be willing to let him go - for the right price."

Injuries have frequently thwarted Anderson's progress, who has never topped the 24 league appearances he made during his debut campaign under Sir Alex Ferguson. He missed a large portion of the 2009-10 season and the 2010 World Cup after rupturing the cruciate ligament in his left knee.
He last represented his country at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where Brazil Under-23's side secured a bronze medal.

Silvio Berlusconi must decide between Silva and empty stadiums

Thiago Silva's move to PSG now hinges on the say-so of AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.

Berlusconi has pulled back from negotiations and asked PSG for a few days to consider their €47 million offer.
The Milan president knows he needs the cash to balance the books, but has been stung by the backlash from fans, players and ex-players over the proposed move.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been following the developments from the Euros and texted Milan vice president Adriano Galliani last night: "This is not good."
PSG remain confident the deal will happen, though Berlusconi will speak to his advisers, including son Piersilvio and daughter Barbara, before making a final decision.

[UPDATE] Silva transfer saga latest news

Thiago Silva transfer saga is set to live on, at least just for another 24 hours. Adriano Galliani came back from Paris with an offer between 44-46 milion euros. He just stated briefly "We should wait and see what happens, prayes sometimes really help and hopefully the President will decide to hold Silva and not to sell him"
Earlier today Leonardo also said that PSG cannot afford the saga to go on, so the next few days the Thiago Silva drama will be put to an end, even if it includes in PSG to give up on Silva's chase.
Thiago Silva once stated that he wants to become a legend in Milan, and follow Maldini's footsteps.
Few players together with Barbara Berlusconi, reacted against Silva's departure. Now it's all in Silvio Berlusconi hands, will Thiago Silva end up the same way Kaka did few years ago?? Will history be repeated? We shall get our answers within the next few days.
[UPDATED 12:05]

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi “intends to resist the PSG offers for Thiago Silva,” revealed Adriano Galliani.

The Vice-President had been in Paris for the last two days conducting extensive negotiations with their director Leonardo.

Galliani flew back to Italy this evening and had talks with President Berlusconi, which seem to have changed the situation around this €47m deal.

“Berlusconi intends to resist the PSG offers for Thiago Silva,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia late on Wednesday night.

The statement comes after players such as Antonio Cassano, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Stephan El Shaarawy publicly urged the club to keep hold of the Brazilian defender.

Even Milan Channel, the official Rossoneri television station, ran items begging Berlusconi not to sell Thiago Silva.
