Finally after few weeks of journalistic drama, Beckham came out and answered on his own website and explained the loan move to AC Milan:“One of the reasons I want to train and play in Milan for a few months is the fact that MLS season doesn't run as long as the European season and my body is programmed to actually not have that amount of time off. During the off season, I'm hoping to go to Milan to train and play with them.”He also explained why this time he choose Milan as his "adventure" destination: “AC Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world,” he said. “I've a great chance to go there, keep fit and play with some of the best players in the world. They've got Kaka, Ronaldinho, Seedorf and also a player with one of the best records in football, in Maldini.”And finally he said that he committed his future to Galaxy by saying: “[Playing for Milan] also gives me a chance to keep my fitness up and also carry that on for when I come back to the Galaxy and for the MLS season,” he said. “I'm still very committed to being a Galaxy player. I came to the Galaxy to win trophies and I want to do that"Also we should say that new Fifa rules does not allow short deals, this means Beckham in case signs loan deal with Milan he will miss the first 3 months of MLS season.

Yes this time this information is also confirmed by Milan VP Adriano Galliani who said: " Beckham will join Milan in January transfer window on loan until the end of Calcio season and then we will try and make the deal permanent", so the obvious question that most rossoneri and Italian soccer fans ask is: "Is this a smart move by Milan management?" From economical point of view this could actualy work out well for Milan, Beckham is a brand and could also attract other players like Fabregas to join Milan maybe even next summer. From playing point of view depending on his age (33 years old) maybe he has no pace he had once but he still has the type of long passes and together with Pirlo and Seedorf they will "feed" Pato and Borriello with precise passes and create lot of scoring opportunities for them.
