[UPDATE] Gattuso set to sign for Sion after Galatasaray U-turn - report

UPDATE- Friday June 15, 2012: It's official, Gennaro Gattuso has signed a two year contract with FC Sion. Scroll down to see a presentation picture.

The Italian midfielder looked initially set to further his career in Turkey, but it has been suggested he has agreed to join the Stade Tourbillon outfit after a change of heart
Former AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is on the brink of completing a free transfer to Swiss side Sion, Sport Mediaset reports.
Italian sources had claimed earlier on Thursday that the 34-year-old was close to joining Galatasaray on a one-year deal worth €1.5 million.
However, fresh reports suggest that Gattuso has made a U-turn on his decision and agreed to join Sion until 2014.
It is believed that the Swiss side, who finished ninth in the domestic league this season, will hold a press conference on Friday at 13:30GMT to announce the signing.
Gattuso does not know yet who will coach him at the Stade Tourbillon as Sion are on the lookout for a new manager after Vladimir Petkovic agreed to join Lazio earlier in the month.

Gattuso's ideas seem to be clear, Milan won't be spending much money on Mercato, and Milan fans should comfort with this situation and get on with it.
